We asked our attendees, “Do you have a trick to managing your Hiring Managers?”

Here are their answers:

  • Acting with a sense of urgency in all interactions.
  • Always be ahead with updates on the status of their job. Avoid a hiring manager coming to you looking for an update.

  • Ask to understand first, know their drivers, adjust to personality types

  • it's all about the relationship, building credibility and setting expectations.
  • Kill them with kindness, so when you ask them for persistent updates, they are less likely to get annoyed.
